About Us

Bright Bard Games
Bright Bard Games is a Twin Cities-based TTRPG publisher run by queer, disabled creators Jonathon Boyle and Bri de Danann. We make weird and whimsical games focused on easy-to-play, tactile experiences and solo/duet journaling games to encourage creative habits.
Bri and Jon are two goblins in a trench coat stuffed full of zines, pins, and other shinies. We hit it off after a whirlwind weekend of gaming at Gen Con 2019, where we spent several late nights rolling dice into the wee hours of the morning with friends and roaming the vendor hall. We stayed in touch in the following years, rolling (digital) dice, collaborating on creative projects, and chatting about games, anthropology, and cozy media.
Our frequent tag-teaming projects settled into what would become Bright Bard games when we published Terminus together for Zinequest 2022. Now, when we're not publishing games or attending conventions as vendors, we're probably making our friends (And each other) laugh at game night.
